In other news ! I SUCK at uploading my llustration pieces but I PROMISE there will be a ton of work at the end of this semester of all my finished pieces that i want to share with y'all. but for now.... a quick review of Rohto Hydra !!! let's set the scene: it's the end of the semester of my junior year i am staying up late and straining my eyes a lot and i wake u with crazy dry eyes. i remembered that my sister got these eyedrops for free at some event and i gave them a try! the FIRST thing i experienced was a intense unfamiliar tingle on my eyes and i seriously could NOT open my eyes for a minute ! afterwards though, the tingle was really refreshening ! my eyes were less red and they were hydrated and they seriously woke me up for my A.M. class. i love this stuff and i will maybe do a review on the other ones when im done with this bottle. that is all for today =]

recently i saw this site thebeautysampler.com and they sell sample size MAC pigments for 2 bucks ! a really good price and they were doing a promo 30% off the entire purchase AND free shipping ! such a great deal for MAC and it didnt take too long to get to me, just about 2 days.

life update.

SCHOOL BLOWS SO HARD! okay so i was kinda drained after some boring classes today and went shopping bought me a pair of earrings
and i bought a new bag that ive been promising to buy so i can actually fit school books and etc. inside ! lol

and last but not least my homework for African History homework....
its really boring right now because im stuck at the intro... so i might just go ahead and start the essays.

so i noticed that tumblr is kinda more like xanga (r.i.p. xanga) and now.... i think .... im going to move.... maybe.

sketch book update

with attempts to keep up with this blog, working, and socializing im posting some sketch book stuff !







I was admiring my friends tattooing a koi fish on someones arm and decided i want to draw one too so i looked them up and drew one. they never look as enchanting as the tattoos.... this one looks like a fat magic karp from pokemon ! I sketched Stephy. that is all. i cruised through PerezHilton.com and found this way cool scratch off magazine cover thing didnt really got the head and the basics of the torso done and ten my parents came in so i couldnt keep that screen open had to make up the rest. the dragon is going to be part of my obsession satisfaction for the month ! (it happens to be pink and glitter)

its been on my mind pretty much every day this week since i am not on schedule till tomorrow, i figured i should just update now =] !

ive been working every day since summer started which came as a surprise to me since i had no idea i was this bomb-digg at my job. sadly ive been neglecting my promises to myself for practicing arts through the summer ! kinda sad right?

i been able to work in my sketch book though and have a few things to show !! i will update next week when i can get to a scanner (mine broke!) I restocked my materials at my house too so no excuses to venture into stuff thats not pencil n pen. 

i had an epiphany today ! although a few professors may have criticized my use of water color (they thought it was to heavy) THIS IS MY SUMMER AND MY LIFE and i like the way it looks and the transparency is better than acrylic washed down.... idk cant get mad at me for that. if water colors werent meant to be used heavily it would say that on the box that i bought or the tubes of paint ! 

so yes i will practice light handed and heavy handed. im going to be greedy =]

Hey peeps. I am back home now and it's kinda weird because I am not being surrounded by neon lights or hipsters. I am back in the town of Randolph . not for really really but kinda back'n'forth . I passed by my neighbors house today and noticed that their lush forest is back in full bloom. It looks a bit more north-easty now because of the evergreen pine trees getting super tall and such. I shall use it as a study area for summer when I'm back in town. I have a collage to put up here and also my finished hedgehog. I think that's it?

SUMMER GOALS:
- Produce at least one piece of art a week and get to have fun with it!!
- Work A LOT at HCO. possibly inquire about a transfer to Abercrombie and Fitch.
- Learn to use polymer clay
- Learn to make polymer clay scented
- Create an Etsy so i can sell my fun wearable items and maybe some of my more "illustration" pieces (i really want something to save from summer though)
- learn adobe flash! so i can make some animations =] !
- buy external hard drive!!! UGHHH!!

the last Hurrah!!!

Okay. so this is my last day of classes @ AIB for sophomore year anddd... its so exciting!
This is my mad scientist piece !!! so much fun.. so little time. I took like a day on this all together and it went through such a dramatic change. Anyways i feel pretty good been wanting to do something with science for awhile now. I will be probably returning to this science theme again.

this is an experiment with the technique (name has slipped my mind currently) but it involves water color and working form dark to light. this cute lil porcupine or hedgehog creature is blue because he is like sonic but he is cooler and hes just chilling out smelling a flower . 

DONT FORGET BOSTON! tomorrow is the walk for hunger ! walk 20 miles and donate money to project bread and feed hundreds of families in MA , its a great cause and you get to tag fun signs every mile.

Experimental illustration and such.

Just a few pieces that Ive been meaning to get on here and on my portfolio site.

chosen word and I am having trouble remembering them at the moment but this is a Gossip Girl inspired piece .

I am calling this piece "Fish on the Beach" I was really trying to use smaller pieces of fish to create a large fish and i used real dried anchovies and the eye ball is made from a real fish eye. It was really a project that i wanted to push myself to use something I fear like dead animals. They really fascinate me.

This is just a fun piece and i based it off the song "Like a Boss" by Lonely Island. It was an experimental way of creating a book but with a cup that I sawed in half.

This is from another randomly drawn set of words "Accordian Safari" I automatically thought of animals but thought it was played out, then I thought marine animals! But i wanted some more ZING ! So I got inspired by the microbial plushies and created some real characters in a plastic sealed off home pictured below.
